| Inter-disciplinary and co-operative art forms in the Net represent the most
interesting developments in the Internet. In the second part. Olia Lialiana
will introduce her work with a lecture and presentation on "A.K. goes to
Paradise". Her theory purports to show that "Net language is closer to Film
than Video". The artist is also represented in the festival programme with her
Internet project "My Boyfriend came back from the War". |

| Marina Grzinic will present the work from the fine art group IRWIN, Ljubljana,
Slovenia and it's project Neue Slowenische Kunst (NSK) - State in Time. |
| Since the 1990's one of the most attention-drawing projects of the Neue
Slowenische Kunst (NSK) movement, which consists of the music group LAIBACH, a
theater group and the group IRWIN; ist the project NSK - State in Time. It was
in the context of a paradigm of this kind that the NSK Embassies were
realised. |

| The subject of Net Criticism represents a thematic focal point in the EMAF
seminares in 1997. After the Internet euphoria of last year, a critical
stock-take concerning projects, developments and artistic perspectives is
needed. |

will be analysed from a variety of view points and complemented via
considerations of a societal and philosophical nature. |

- This is a personal experience between the experience of the body and the
experience of the mind interacting with VR. This led the artist to her latest
work: subject: emotions encoded, a docudrama in Cyberspace in which two
strangers meet and start an affair. Through the work she analyses how to deal
with real emotions, born and developed in Cyberspace. But where have the
feelings gone?
