Bobby Abate
Biografie:
BOBBY ABATES schwarze, humorvolle und superbe paranoide Vorstellungen
begannen in der Kindheit als Mittel, den banalen Horror der einfachen Vororte
zu überwinden und entwickelte sich zur treibenden Kraft hinter den
dynamischen Arbeiten, die Film, Video, 3D-Animation und Installation
einschließt. Bobby erhielt seinen BFA vom Massachusetts College of Art und
den MFA vom Bard College und lebt zur Zeit in Brooklyn, New York. Er ist
Teilzeitdozent am New School Universitys Graduiertenprogramm in Medienwissenschaften.
Bobby arbeitet an einem zweiten Spielfilm, der im Frühjahr
2005 in New York und Miami gedreht wird.
Biography:
BOBBY ABATE's darkly humorous and superbly paranoid imagination started as a childhood
means to transcend the mundane horrors of simple suburbia and evolved into the
driving force behind a dynamic body of work including film, video, 3D animation, and
installation. Bobby received his BFA from the Massachusetts College of Art and MFA from
Bard College and is currently based in Brooklyn, New York. He teaches part-time in the
New School University's Graduate of Media Studies program. Bobby is working on a second
feature to be filmed in New York and Miami in early 2005.
