Biografie:
David Rimmer: Geboren 1942. 1963 Student an der University of British Columbia (Mathematik, Wirtschaftswissenschaften) und 1968 an der Simon Fraser University. 1967 freier Künstler in den Bereichen Film, Video, Photographie, Performance. 1968-70 Arbeit als Cutter bei C.B.C. Vancouver. 1971-74 Stipendiat (Canada Council Grant) und Arbeit als Künstler, Bibliothekar, Tischler und freier Kameramann in New York. Seit 1974 Gastdozent für Film und Video an der University of British Columbia und anderen akademischen Einrichtungen in Kanada und USA.

David Rimmer: born in 1942. 1963 student at the University of British Columbia (Mathematics, Economics) and at Simon Fraser University in 1968. Independent artist in the fields of film, video, photography, and performance. Worked as an editor at C.B.C. Vancouver from 1968 to 1970. Scholar from 1971 to 1974 (Canada Council Grant) as well as works as artist, librarian, carpenter and free lanced photographer in New York. Since 1974 assistant professor (film/video) at the University of British Columbia and other institutions in Canada and the U.S.A.
