Pipilotti Rist: Geboren 1962 im Rheintal. Matura, Gebrauchs-, Illustrations- und Fotografik an der Hochschule für Angewandte Kunst in Wien. Praxis. Klasse für audiovisuelle Gestaltung (Videoklasse) an der SfG Basel. Arbeitet als Videokünstlerin und -technikerin (Edit) und Computergrafikerin in Basel und Zürich. Mitglied der Genossenschaft VIA (AudioVideoKunst) Basel, des Videoladens Zürich und der MusikPerformancegruppe Les Reines Prochaines (LRP).

Pipilotti Rist: Born in 1962 in the Rhine valley. Matura. Applied graphics, illustration graphics and photographics at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna. Practice. Audio-visual design class (video class at the SfG Basel. Works in Basel and Zurich as a video artist, video technician (editing) and computer-graphics artist. Member of the cooperative VIA (AudioVideoKunst), Basel, of the Videoladen Zurich and of the music-performance group 'Les Reines Prochaines' (LRP).
