In Rainbow Dance tritt ein Mann in einer regnerischen Straße aus einem Regenbogen. Der Bogen wird zu einer bunten Silhouette, und die Straßenkleidung verwandelt sich in die eines Spaziergängers und tanzt in einer Fantasiewelt der Farbe. In Rainbow Dance wird die Farbe so als räumliches Mittel eingesetzt, daß sie auf der Oberfläche des Auges erscheint, sich auflöst und in rhythmischen Wellen immer wieder auftaucht. In diesem Film ist die Bewegung der Farben wie der Kontrapunkt zur Bewegung der farbtragenden Objekte. Die Bewegung der Farbe dominiert - bildlich wie filmisch - alle anderen Bewegungen.

Description:
In Rainbow Dance a man comes off a rainbow in a rainy street. The rainbow becomes a coloured silhouette, and his street clothes change to those of a walker. He throws himself into the activities of a vacationer, then he dances within a fantasy of colour. In Rainbow Dance colour is being used in a spatial manner, it appears on the surface of the eye where it dissolves and reappears in rhythmic waves. In this film, the movement of colour is like the counterpoint of the movements of those objects that convey the colour. The movement of colour will dominate - both pictorially and cinematographically - all the other movements.
