›... dann wird alles gleich sein, obwohl alles anders ist ...‹ - Lampedusa. Palermo - irgendwo, irgendwann, irgendwer. Eine Untersuchung des Konzepts des Kostümfilms. Der Film wurde 1999 in Super-8 in Palermo auf Sizilien gedreht und 2004 fertiggestellt. Als eine Art experimentelle Dokumentation befasst sich der Film mit der Authentizität von nicht-fiktionalen Filmen und der Frage, auf welche Weise die Struktur der Bilder und die des Klangs sowie die Darstellung zur Interpretation beitragen bzw. sie erschweren.

Description:
›...then all will be the same though all will be changed...‹ - Lampedusa. Palermo - anywhere, anytime, anyone. An exploration of the concept of the period film. It was shot on Super 8 by the filmmaker on location in Palermo, Sicily in 1999 and was completed in 2004. The film, an experimental form of documentary, plays with the idea of authenticity in non-fictional films and the ways in which the textural qualities of the image and the soundtrack, as well as the performance, contribute to and complicate these readings.
