Das Video widmet sich aber nicht allein dem Einzelschicksal Helmut Kohls - es ist auch eine Reflexion über Macht, Medien und Moral, über Eiseskälte und Heimatliebe. Grotesk, komisch und tragisch zugleich.

True Words / Evil Images / Rough Rhythms is an experimental video about the seemingly unstoppable rise and sudden fall of a German chancler. The video is not only about the fate of Helmut Kohl. Above all it is a reflection of power, media and morals, cold-heartedness and love of one’s native country. It is at the same time grotesque, funny and tragic.
