Blickwinkel. Ein Dokumentarfilm,
ein langes Gedicht an den Hund, erzählt
in einer köstlichen Mischung aus Bildern,
Texten und Stimmen von Piero di Cosimo,
Joan Baez, Enid Blyton, Virginia Woolf und
dem Mädchen von nebenan. In einer Reihe
von phantastischen und surrealen
Tableaus haben kleine Mädchen ferne
Treffen mit großen Hunden, während
erwachsene Frauen Geschichten von
Haustieren, Unbehagen in der Familie und
unterdrückten sexuellen Spannungen
erzählen. Bleibt sitzen! Es dreht sich alles
um Mädchen und Hunde.
Description:
This contemporary bestiary takes a subversive
and tongue in cheek look at the relationships
between girls and dogs. A documentary,
a long poem to the dog. As told by a delicious
medley of images, texts and voices from Piero
di Cosimo to Joan Baez to Enid Blyton to Virginia
Woolf to the girl next door. In a series of
luscious and surreal tableaux, small girls have
distant encounters with big dogs whilst grown
women tell their stories of childhood pets,
family malaise and repressed sexual tensions.

dogs.
