›Automóvil‹ ist die erste Arbeit aus einer Serie ›MI‹, die aus 7 Videos besteht. Das Material für dieses Video stammt aus einer 18monatigen Recherche am Colombian National Foresees Institut. Dieses Material hilft, eine auf Gewalt gegründete Geschichte zu zeigen, aber nicht die Art der regulären Gewalt, die ein Bürger Kolumbiens jeden Tag im Fernsehen oder in den Printmedien sieht. Wie können wir mit dem Archivmaterial, das als Konsequenz unserer Gewalt angelegt wurde, umgehen? Dies ist die Hauptfrage dieses Werkes an den Autor.

›Automóvil‹ is the first work of a series called ›MI‹ consisting of 7 videos. Materials for building this video came from an eighteen months research on the Colombian National Foresees institution. This material helps to build a history based on violence but not the kind of regular violence a Colombian citizen sees all days in television or printed media. How can we interact with the archival material produced in consequence of our violence? This is the main question that this work proposes for the author.
