Das Gelb ohne Zebra strukturiert die Stadt als Wahrnehmungsraum. Eine Erzählerin im Off, die sich in urbanen Sphären bewegt, versucht diese beschreibend zu klären. Mitten in der Normalität der Stadt ist es jedoch unmöglich, Distanz zur Umgebung zu wahren. Im Video verbindet sich eine strukturelle Analyse aktueller Urbanität mit subjektiven Transformationen, die das psychische Erleben wirksam werden lassen. Dinge werden ein- und ausgeblendet, Grauwerte, die in ihrer Vagheit keinen Halt bieten, rufen andere markante Farben hervor. (...) Description:
The Yellow Without Zebra structures the city as a space of perception. An off-camera narrator, who is moving through an urban sphere, attempts to provide a descriptive explanation of this. However, in the midst of the normality of the city, it is impossible to maintain a distance from the surroundings. In the video a structural analysis connects current urbanity with subjective transformations, which activates the psychological experience. Elements fade in and out; vague gray tones, which offer no solid ground, call forth other striking colours.
