In burlesque or video musical style, La Vie Héroïque de B.S. tells the story of industrial designer B.S. Born in a light, humorous manner as an “opera in three acts“. Set in the Bauhaus era of the twenties, the protagonist attempts to transfer the ideas of functional design to the world of the American Way of Life. His unalterable faith in the modernists’ ideas, his enormous self-confidence and overestimation of his capabilities and, worse still, his complete lack of a perspective view lead him to end up having fatuous delusions. Undeterred, he continues his quest to create a better design for the “new world“.
