Antonin de Bemels

Biografie:
ANTONIN DE BEMELS ist ein belgischer Video- und Tonkünstler, *1975. Er studierte von 1993 bis 1997 Videokunst an der Ecole de Recherche Graphique in Brüssel. Seit 1999 arbeitet er mit dem amerikanischen Choreografen Bud Blumenthal. Sie stellten zusammen drei experimentelle Tanzvideoserien her, ›the Scrub Solos‹, und drei Tanzstücke, die Videoübertragungen als Teil der Choreographie beinhalteten. Manchmal tritt er als VJ in elektronischen Musikshows auf.

ANTONIN DE BEMELS is a Belgian video and sound artist, *1975. He studied video art at Ecole de Recherche Graphique in Brussels from 1993 to 1997. Since 1999, he works with the American choreographer BUD BLUMENTHAL. Together, they made a series of three experimental dance videos, the Scrub Solos, and three dance pieces incorporating video screenings as part of the choreography. He sometimes performs as a vj during electronic music shows, made radio pieces for the Radiolab program in 2000, also he created original soundtracks for some contemporary dance pieces, and for some of his own videos.
