Lecture: "Minus Eins"
Johanna Reich presents the project entitled »Minus 1« by the Academy of Media Arts Cologne (KHM) and introduces the concept of the experimental lab, as well as some of the ensuing works.
She also shows some of her own works. In particular, she will talk about her video installation »Front« and other works by KHM students involved in the exhibition Image Battles. Minus 1 emerged on the initiative of Professor Mischa Kuball from the previous holography lab at the KHM. The project also acts as an interdisciplinary technical studio, a place of communication and teaching, as well as the hub of a network within the KHM, facilitating and promoting the realisation of artistic projects by students. According to this idea, the aim is to seek cooperation and exchange with various partners in Cologne outside the university, and further afield in future.
