Roz Mortimer
Biografie:
Die Künstlerin und Filmemacherin Roz
Mortimer lebt und arbeitet in London. Sie
arbeitete zunächst als Textilkünstlerin
und Bildhauerin und fing 1995 an, Filme
zu machen. Sie interessiert sich besonders
für den erweiterten Dokumentarfilmbereich
und arbeitet mit zahlreichen
Medien: Film und Fotografie, Sound, Installation,
Performance und Bildhauerei.
Ihre Arbeit wurde von Arts Council England, Wellcome Trust, British Council und der Rockefeller Foundation unterstützt. Ihre Filme wurden überall auf der Welt gezeigt!
Biography:
Roz Mortimer is a visual artist and film maker
who lives and works in London. She initially
worked as a textile artist and sculptor before
beginning to make films in 1995. She has a particular
interest in expanded forms of documentary
and her work spans a wide range of
media; from film to photography, sound, installation,
performance and sculpture.
. Her work has been supported by the Arts Council England, the Wellcome Trust, the British Council and the Rockefeller Foundation. Her films have been widely screened around the world.
