This year’s StudentForum exhibition will take place at various locations, including the Stadtgalerie. Located centrally between the Lagerhalle and the Dominikanerkirche, the “artspace” at Heger Straße 30 is easily accessible to all visitors. This is where innovative and varied installations by students of the cooperation partners of the Hochschule für Gestaltung Offenbach can be viewed. Some live performances by student artists will also be given on stage at the Stadtgalerie. In this place concerts, live perfomances and installations by young artist of Sint-Lucas Ghent can also be viewed. The third cooperation partner, the Muthesius Academy of Fine Arts in Kiel, is contributing its installations, which will be exhibited in the Bürgergehorsam tower, opposite the Dominikanerkirche.

This year give representatives of three very differerent Media Academies a forsight to the study. Wim Lambrecht of the Sint-Lucas Ghent provides an insight in the circumstances of studying in Belgium and the so called Experimental Studio, where the field of art is ought to be expanded by students in their own creative and sometimes even playful ways. The Muthesius Academy of Fine Arts is being represented by Professor Stephan Sachs. He will present the subject area Film/Time Based Media and an assortment of a few films by his students. Professor Ulrike Gabriel from the Hochschule für Gestaltung Offenbach will introduce the department of visual communication and electronic media. She will be joined by Florian Jennet and some student artists. Furthermore Wolfgang Strauss will present participants of this year`s academy contest Digital Sparks.
